About Bottom Up Blinds
Updated
Bottom Up Blinds is an independent US buyer's guide to top-down bottom-up shades: shades that lower from the top, so daylight comes in while the lower window stays covered.
Who runs it
I'm Jason Meinzer. I've run bottomupblinds.com since 2009. Most people have never heard of shades that open from the top; once they have, they want to know which store to buy from. This site compares the stores that sell them, so you don't have to open four tabs.
How we pick
- We compare product specs, prices and published reviews at each store.
- We do not lab-test products, and we never claim to.
- Picks are ordered by which store fits your situation best, never by how much a store pays us.
- Every price on the site shows the store and the date we checked it. Prices change often.
- We say when a store has a weakness and when a top-down bottom-up shade is the wrong choice.
How we make money
Some links to stores are affiliate links: if you buy after clicking, the store pays us a commission. Your price is the same. Details are on How we make money.
